Pastor Barkley has been our pastor since 1986. Prior to coming here Pastor B was a youth pastor for three years, a church planter and senior pastor for 10 years. During his tenure as shepherd of the Cumberland First Family a team -oriented ministry has been the priority. Working together as an inter-generational family of believers, God is leading us to realize the promise He has given to Pastor B and the church from Haggai 2:9---A GREAT AND GLORIOUS FUTURE IN HIS NAME!
Chaplain Kasecamp came to our church through the influence of his then "to be" wife, Debbie. He was saved during that time and has served the church in many capacities through the years. Due to health issues he had to retire from the city fire department early. But God had a plan in it all and Chaplain Jim had doors open and with God's leading he was made the City Fire Department Chaplain. God continues to use Chaplain Jim in that capacity, as well as, various ministries in the local church.
Pastor Monington came to us from Sheridan, Ore. in 1994. While a part of our church family Pastor Steve answered the call of God to become a pastor. Pastor Steve is our associate pastor in the primary areas of assimilation and Faith In Action Ministries. He was ordained in 2009.
